The Full Story
How it all started!
Hey ya'll! I'm Tashun Parker Dye. My family call me Tee. Welcome to the Parker’s Paws family. Growing up
in the Mississippi Delta, my parents made sure my two sisters and I had a good life. They did
their best and they did it well. We didn't have much, but it was always enough. My dad, now
retired, worked the same blue-collar job since he was old enough to work so that he can provide
a stable life for his family. While my mom worked, she also took care of home raising three
daughters. A pet, specifically a dog, has always been part of our family make-up for as long as I
can remember.
So, I guess you’re wondering how and why I got into providing this experience for dogs and
their humans. In 2008, my very first fur baby, the one I was solely responsible for was born.
Her name is Chloe. Chloe is your standard Shih Tzu. To this very day, she is still right by my
side. She is and always has been my inspiration.I love my fur baby! I love all fur babies. Dogs
are precious and deserving of all the love in the world. They are fiercely loyal and the love they
have for their human is always unconditional. They strive to make us happy. My goal is to
make every dog I meet, feel loved, happy and adored! Because that is exactly what I feel when I
first lay eyes on them.
Grooming became necessary for me when I noticed every time I took my fur baby to the
groomer, the service that we received was not what I felt she deserved. I didn't know much, she
was cleaned, smelled good, and looked good. But that wasn't enough. It's still not enough!
Because of my love and passion for dogs, it was important for me to not only learn about dogs
and how to properly groom and care for them, but certification for both grooming and breeding
was more than necessary.
After attending both a grooming and a breeding school, it opened my eyes to the process and I
became aware of what our experiences with groomers were lacking. Grooming is an experience
for both the dog and their human. Dogs can't say "ouch" or I'm scared" As a groomer, it is our
responsibility to consider your dog’s eyes and temperament when giving them this experience.
Some dogs may take 1 hour to groom and some may take 4 hours. Either way, first priorities are
always making sure your dog is comfortable, relaxed, and they trust me. My responsibility and
my passion are to make them comfortable, feel good, keep them safe and to look and smell good.
Dogs are so precious. And they all deserve to be treated as such.
Mission
My Mission is to make every fur babe I encounter feel loved, adored, and pampered. While at the same time meeting the needs of their owner.
Please know that when one door closes, God and God alone, will open other doors and windows too. God all by Himself gets all the glory and praise!
Vision
My vision is not one to be put in words. I can do my best by providing pictures and providing the best service I can. My vision was a gift from God. I will strive to bring that vision to life for my clients, potential clients and their fur babies. I pray I do it well. I thank God for entrusting me with his vision and for granting me the tools and the know-how to bring it to life.
